ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATION

It is the objective of the Association and membership to maintain a high quality living standard, a close neighborly relationship within the Association, a unified voice regarding various issues affecting our community, and to establish cost-control measures. Berkley Square is comprised of a mixture of established patio homes, single family homes and townhouses, along with a number of newly built patio homes. As a result of the hard work and diligence of the Homeowners Association (HOA), its Board of Directors, and its many volunteers, the Berkley Square Community has retained its quaint, quiet, and private character in an urban setting, which is unique for the Buffalo area.

The HOA is the BEST WAY OF PRESERVING YOUR HOME’S VALUE, OF MAINTAINING THE HIGH STANDARDS OF THE COMMUNITY AND OF INSURING THE BEST SELLING PRICE FOR YOUR HOME in the future:

1. The Association Declaration of Rules and Regulations spells out the criteria and standards for the development and maintenance of the community. The acceptance of these standards will help preserve our investments and the future of our community.

2. Involvement in the HOA activities, such as the Annual Christmas Party, Music in the Park, garage sales, and other planned social events, is one of the best ways of meeting your neighbors, developing social relationships, and a community sense of ‘belonging’.

3. The HOA can represent all of our interests and influence various municipal levels regarding home assessments, road repair, traffic control, noise abatement, improved plowing, waste management issues, and so forth.

4. The development and success of maintaining and utilizing the gardens, the Fountain Park, the Pocket Park, the various green areas, and the gazebo can benefit everyone. An attractive, well-groomed complex complements the lifestyle, making it more attractive to live here and being part of the activities.
